#TALKTOME WES PERIOD

The Champagne Champion himself has spent 2016 soaking up the California sun and flooding his veins with music in order to help him create his latest album "Late Bloomer;" and he's talking to me all about it. All while we wait for a couple $20 sacks.

In 2015 I met Wes, shortly there after he offered to hold my hair back while I fake puked my guts out for his "Champagne Champion" video (click here to watch it), and ever since we have been working together on visuals. I knew his album was dropping soon and knew I needed to interview him about his latest musical masterpiece. With some songs sounding very reminiscent of Twenty88, like the tracks featuring Marti & Kayla, he brings a very sensual and soft side out of himself for this album and I can say he does it very well. Aside from some female counterparts on this release, he also features other great musicians to help sell his soul to you- we speak about how he picks the people he works with, how he found his current team  #SQUADTHIQ,  and how making genuine connections with the people you work with truly affects the quality of the content you put out.

Along with talking about "Late Bloomer" we also took a few minutes to talk about the current state of the nation and our upcoming POTUS; he shares his positive and  realistic views of our future and gives us all a little reminder to stop talking and start doing! He bid farewell to Barack and offered advice for the rest of us, #bubbleupandhunkerdown!

As always, it was a pleasure getting to sit and speak with Wes, and really dig deep to see what being a "Late Bloomer" really means. Enjoy!

#TALKTOME KASEY KOOP

On my journey here on Earth I've been fortunate enough to meet a lot of incredible people. One of those people is a brilliant young comedienne named Kasey Koop; last week I invited her over to chat about a few things that mattered to her.

When Kasey and I first met it was the Spring of 2015, I found her through Instagram and loved her look, I needed to shoot her. I met up with her at her apartment in North Hollywood and knew right away that it would be an exciting shoot. She was down to play with me on my concepts and her personality was bubbly & as outgoing as ever. Newly sober, but seeming in quite good control of herself & her life; she was brimming with a new confidence that I was happy to embrace. We shot 5 looks and I went on my way, a few months later I casted her for one of WLF89's first projects, "My Girl Porscha," where again her personality, confidence and poise shined through even with 10 other models all on screen. No doubt she was going to make it I thought- with whatever she set her mind to.
